Vacancy distribution for the post of Probationary Officer in State Bank of India, Candidates should not that all the vacancies listed under reservation ,under the guidelines of govt reservation act. Vacancies reserved for OBC category are available only to the 'Non-creamy layer' OBC candidates. 'Creamy layer' OBC candidates should indicate their category as 'General'.
Candiadte should possess degree is from any recognised university or Institution of India is must. Those who are in the Final Year/ Semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview. On filling the online application candidates should enter their CGPA/Percentage with double digit after the decimal is important.
Candidates should ensure their age limits before they proceed to apply. The minimum age of the applicant should have completed 21 years and the maximum age should not exceed 30 years as on 01.04.2019. i.e. candidates must have been born not later than 01.04.1998 and not earlier than 02.04.1989 (both days inclusive). However there will be relaxation in the upper age limit for the following candidates,

The selection for Probationary Officers will be done through a three tiered process:
Phase-I: Preliminary Examination:
Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Test for 100 marks will be conducted online. The test will have of 3 Sections (with separate timings for each section) as 20 minutes each a total of 1 hour. This section covers English Language(30 No's), Quantitative Aptitude(35 No's) and Reasoning Ability(35 No's) a total of 100 questions.
Phase-II: Main Examination: Main exam comprises of 200 objective marks and Description 5o marks. i) Objective Test: The objective test of 3 hours duration consists of 4 Sections for total 200 marks. The objective test will have separate timing for every section and (ii) Descriptive Test: The Descriptive Test of 30 minutes duration with two questions for 50 marks will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay).
Phase-III: Group Exercises (20 marks) & Interview (30 marks) Candidates who qualified in the phase-II will call for Group Exercise and Interviews.
The Final merit list of SBI Probationary Officers is depends on only the marks obtained in Main Examination (Phase-II), both in the Objective Test and the Descriptive Test, will be added to the marks obtained in GE & Interview (Phase-III) for preparing the final merit list.
